I love collaborating with crew members and clients to make a story come to life, and I started Eleven Productions to do just that. I have more than 15 years of industry experience, working first in photography and now as a commercial director. For each project, I bring that finely tuned photographer’s eye for composition and lighting to the project. On film projects, I love working with talent to get genuine, engaging performances. I care about the details and work closely with my crew to find the right approach to each aspect of a project.

1. WHAT DO YOU LOVE TO DO WHEN YOU'RE NOT AT WORK?

I’m an avid road cyclist, and I scratch my competitive itch with amateur racing. When I’m not on my bike, I’m spending time with my wife and two children, exploring the woods behind our house, making forts, or watching movies.

2. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FILM?

Empire Strikes Back. I’ve watched it more times than I can count, and it fanned the flame of my childhood creative curiosity. Favorite guilty pleasure? The Devil Wears Prada

3. WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE PROJECT TO WORK ON AT ELEVEN PRODUCTIONS?

Phillips Lighting campaign for the Home Depot. At the time, it was the largest crew I had worked with (30+), and I absolutely loved the feeling of walking onto set to collaborate with that many creative teammates.

4. IF YOU COULD EAT ONLY ONE MEAL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

For a savory meal, it would be something involving shrimp—they’re my all-time favorite thing to eat (just not shrimp cocktail—no go on cold shrimp!).

For dessert, please pass the chocolate chip cookies. I consider myself a cookie connoisseur.

5. IF YOU WEREN'T IN PRODUCTION AND COULD DO ANYTHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Zookeeper at the Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast of Australia (Steve Irwin’s Zoo!)

6. FAVORITE PLACE YOU’VE TRAVELED?

I can’t choose one! Top three are Australia, Kenya, and the south of France.

7. PIE OR CAKE?

Neither. Who needs pie or cake when the perfect dessert exists in the chocolate chip cookie?

8. MARIO KART AVATAR?

Inkling Girl (green hair). She reigns undefeated in the 11pro break room.

9. IF YOU HAD A WARNING LABEL, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Warning: not casual.

10. FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM?

Chelsea FC. Go Blues!

11. IF YOU HAD TO DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS AN ANIMAL, WHICH ONE WOULD IT BE?

I think due to my intense level of energy, I’d probably be a squirrel. Non-stop hyperactivity and always planning ahead for the winter!
